At last, my favorite season is here again – Autumn. The last few months have been an extremely eventful and busy time for me. After taking the summer to put the finishing touches on it, I'm happy to announce that my latest novel, The Citadel, has just been released through Apollo Publishing - just in time for Halloween! Like Nexus, it will be available in hardcover, paperback and ebook formats. An audiobook is planned in the months to come, also, by the way. The faith-based, supernatural thriller was heavily influenced by the early works of Stephen King, one of my literary inspirations, along with H.P. Lovecraft. Combining strong elements from the horror genre, as well as sci-fi, it's a story like no other. To avoid giving away any plot spoilers, I'll stop there - the less said, the better - although I do encourage everyone to pick up a copy. Also, in the coming months, Nexus: Polarity, book 2 in the Nexus series, will be rereleased through Apollo, and for the first time, will be available in a deluxe hardcover. As heavily requested, I'm also planning to produce an audiobook version. Also, for the Nexus fans out there, when Dimensions (book 3) is rereleased next year, it'll include an original short story. Whether another story will be omitted, keeping the count at 15, or not, bumping them to 16, I'm not certain yet. Still, I'm excited to see how people respond to the story. As if that weren't enough, new and improved back covers to all 4 Nexus books have also gone live. Check it out below and on my Instagram page!
Currently, I'm working on several projects for 2018. In addition to Echoes From The Innerworld, an anthology of genre short stories, I'm also planning several other things, including a book in the exploration of the real life influence that the unseen world has on the physical. I haven't mentioned this in awhile, but I'd like to encourage the readers out there to please, please, please leave reviews for books on sites such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, BAM, ibooks, Scrib'd, etc. Book reviews are mucho important and very much appreciated, helping potential buyers to make a decision on whether to purchase a particular book or not, especially for novels and authors that they're unfamiliar with. Also, I love hearing feedback from readers, especially if you've read one of my books and enjoyed it. Please don't hesitate to drop me a message through my site, or my personal email. Until next time, peace & love!

June, 2017
It's hard to believe that we're already halfway through the year. As good as 2017 has been in many ways, it's also been marred by tragedy and a plethora of global turmoil. It's a sign of the times, to be certain. On a personal note, this year has been both one of growth and struggle. Although I've learned to take the good with the bad, who's to say what's bad just because something doesn't feel good at the present time? Without becoming philosophical, theological or altogether subjective regarding the nature of reality, I'll suffice to say that it's all good and leave it at that. Getting back to point, one of the most exciting announcements I have is my recent signing with Apollo Publishing and the new rerelease of Nexus. Not only this, but it's a revised, expanded version of Nexus! Certainly the best version and format it's ever been. This wider distribution of Apollo has now made the supernatural thriller available not only on Amazon.com, but also on Barnes & Noble, Books-a-million, scribe and hundreds of online retailers. In addition, Nexus is also available for the first time in hardback (for $24.99 USD), directly from Apollo Publishers. To purchase it in hardback, paperback, or electronic formats, follow the link on the books page. The rerelease of the other 3 books in the Nexus series are also anticipated in the coming months and years, and the outcome of how successful these are will determine the possibility of future releases in the series, so stay turned!
In the meantime, I've been busy attending author events, conventions, and also have been hard at work on two mammoth manuscripts as well as a number of digital art projects. As productive as it's been, I still strongly feel there needs to be more hours in the day, although I could settle if sleep weren't an issue. So, onward we go into the glorious unknown. I did want to say again that I love hearing from those who've read my books & stories and have been impacted by them in any way. So please don't hesitate to send me a message through my contact page, or even regarding a potential engagement as the possibilities are endless. Don't forget to connect with me on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Youtube) through the icons at the bottom of the page. With all of that said, carry on and be awesome. As always, So Say We All!

February / March , 2017
It's already just a few months into the new year and it's already filled with a bittersweet flavor. On Tuesday, February 7th, actor, writer, director, teacher Richard Hatch passed away at the age of 71. Although he was known primarily for his role as Captain Apollo in the classic Battlestar Galactica series, as well as Tom Zarek in the re-imagined series, he was a lot more than that to me. Having known him for over a decade, Richard was a friend, a motivator and a mentor. He was a source of inspiration to me becoming an author and writing the Nexus books. He was a supporter from the beginning, suggesting that I do an audio book long before anyone else suggested it. Richard could be prophetic like that, and was a true visionary. My brain is still struggling to process that fact that he's no longer with us. One harsh reality of getting older is loosing loved ones, unfortunately. This never seems to get easier, although we learn to expect it. My heart goes out to Richards family and friends, who are in my prayers.
On a positive note, Nexus: Convergence was officially released in paperback & kindle on Monday, March 6th! The 4th and final book in the current Nexus series, Convergence is available through Amazon.com and linked on this site. I'm confident Nexus fans won't be disappointed, and will be excited to read the conclusion of the character and story arcs, drawing everything to their rightful end (for now, anyhow). The writing of this book, like the others before it, has been filled with personal struggles and challenges. Over the past few years, I've learned that some of the best things in life are born out of difficult times, and Convergence is no different. Whether we're going through relationship struggles, emotional hardship, financial or professional setbacks, God wants to use all of these things for our good and to make us better. This often seems impossible, but He is the God of the impossible. Sometimes we just need to soldier on, fighting through the things that could easily hold us back, instead of surrendering to them. We need to keep pressing on. Don't give up and don't give in!
In addition to planning book events, I'm currently at work on several new projects, including a supernatural thriller called The Citadel and a couple short stories, including one called Dark End of the Hall and Night of the Watcher (A Nexus spinoff). Check out my Twitter and Instagram accounts for regular updates on these and other projects as well as promotions and giveaways. In conclusion, i hope that everyone is having a great year. Never forget that yesterday is dead and gone, tomorrow is yet unborn, but today is where you are. Live here and now. Be awesome. So Say We All!
November / December, 2016
There are a lot of exciting things happening as we enter the holiday season this year. A new president was just elected and the future is here, whether we're ready or not. In the world of Nexus, there are several new announcements. First off, the audiobook to Nexus, produced and narrated by voice-over professional Rich Savage, has just been released! You can find it on Amazon, iTunes and Audible, and can even sample a portion of it for free. Please encourage family and friends to check it out, as the response to this will determine whether more Nexus audiobooks will be available in the future. Also, like last year, there will be a 2017 Nexus calendar, featuring original artwork and excerpts from all of the books in the Nexus series, including book 4, Nexus: Convergence, due for release in April. It's a late announcement, but I managed to get it in under the wire. If you're interested in purchasing a 2017 Nexus calendar (they're $15 each) please send me a message through my website using the contact page. I can also be contacted through my Twitter & Instagram pages (SBrianWeimer). I'm currently in the finishing stages of Convergence, but like all of the previous ones, it's been a labor of love. In the meantime, I would still like to encourage readers of the Nexus series to please leave a review on amazon (hopefully a positive one) for any of the books they've read. This helps other potential readers decide what to purchase when browsing online. I thank each of you ahead of time for being awesome!
Returning to my opening sentence, it's obvious that there's a lot of division, hopelessness and fear in our country and around the world right now. We live in uncertain times, and there are so many unfortunate things happening that it's overwhelming to think about them all. It's my prayer that whether our presidential candidate won or not, that each of us can still focus on loving others unconditionally, taking a stand for freedom, and being a light of truth to others around us. Only these things can bring out of the dark and difficult times that each of us are experiencing. With that said, I hope that everyone has a great holiday season, going into the new year with renewed hope and purpose. Until next time, So Say We All!
